Prompts are the tracked queries AeoIX sends to AI platforms on your behalf. They are the foundation of your visibility monitoring — without prompts set up, AeoIX has nothing to track.
What prompts are
A prompt is a question or search query that your target audience might ask an AI assistant. For example: "What is the best project management tool for agencies?"
AeoIX sends these prompts to the AI models you have enabled and records whether and how your brand appears in the response.
Setting up your prompts
Prompts are configured during onboarding. You can also manage them at any time from the Prompts section in the sidebar.
When adding prompts, think about:
Questions your customers ask AI assistants about your category
Queries where competitors currently appear
Brand-specific questions you want to monitor
Which models run your prompts
Prompts run across the AI models you have enabled for your project. You can manage which models are active from Project → Settings → Model toggles.
Viewing prompt results
Results from your prompts flow into the Analytics page and the individual Sources view. You can drill into a specific prompt to see which brands were mentioned, the full AI response, and the sources cited.
